NAVRATHRI Day -3
Triteeya – colour: Grey
Goddess Chandraghanta is worshiped on Tritiya of Navratri. Goddess Chandraghanta is the married form the Goddess Parvati. After getting married to Lord Shiva Goddess Mahagauri started adorning her forehead with half Chandra and due to which Goddess Parvati was known as Goddess Chandraghanta. She stands for courage and valour that is essential to fight the evil.
The third day of Navratri exhibits characteristics of bravery and courage of Goddess Durga and hence grey is the colour of the day. Its a beautiful neutral colour to adorn and accessorise with everything else. Hence, a favourite colour for designers.
